Hahaha! I remember this episode! I don't have time to watch it right now, but I'll totally toss in my opinion later when I get back home.

1) I like urban legends. It's always interesting to hear where they originated.

2) I've never been fishing before in my life. :/

3) Some additional thoughts and quotes I liked:

"Do you really think any fish could survive in the city lake?"

Kind of ironic that they're having a fishing contest right after they cleaned the lake and rid it of all the toxins that were actually killing the fish in the first place. You'd think that now the lake is "Clean" that they'd want its inhabitants to live just a little longer.

"Big Caesar is as old as the rotting tires at the bottom of City Lake."

Well, I guess it's not really clean then, is it?

How come Grandpa didn't use the lucky bait he caught Big Caesar with in "Fishing Trip"? That would've saved everyone from the suffering of getting too gassy from all those beans!

I love Stinky meditating with the faux Bermuda triangle on his head, and Harold saying, "He's psycho!" in deep, wondrous awe. XD

Pirate Gertie is awesome.

Of course Arnold would be noble and let Big Caesar go. He's a bold kid. Smile

Bwahahahaha, I have nothing to say, actually, this episode is everything Hey Arnold! ever was and will be- rich, three-dimensional characters who have strange but believeable adventures, and who make the right decisions in the end.

<3 This is why I love this show.

That's why it's the best show. It knows no age.

Let's not forget it's hilarious, too. Smile

1) What's your opinion on urban legends? And this one in specific?

I adore urban legends to the point where I research them constantly. My favorite is probably the whole "Texas Chainsaw Massacre really happened one!". I live in Texas, and there is no shortage of people that will insist this, to this day. The truth? Not only did it not happen, the person Leatherface was based off of was Ed Gein, a 'serial killer' (in quotes as he did not kill enough to qualify as a true serial killer, but he was so notorious he's counted among them anyways) and he lived in Wisconsin. I even wrote a paper on him Senior year. Despite showing my parents the evidence numerous times, they still continue to insist that it really happened, and that it happened in Texas. *smacks self upside the head*

I hate fishing. I won't touch worms and I don't have the patience for it. I can't be quiet very long.

3) Any other thoughts?
Jaws references are awesome. Phil is awesome. Gertie is awesome, the whole dang show is awesome! He he, Stinky's psycho...psychic!
