Favourite pairings?

I can see it...but "Curly's Girl" sold me on Curly/Rhonda and "Egg Story" sold me the rest of the way on Harold/Rhonda (I'd already kind of liked them together, but that sealed it). But then, Rhonda seems like the type to end up dating several guys before she finds Mr. Right, so who's to say she wouldn't have dated most of the boys in her class?

I like the idea of Stinky/Lila. I just adored how he always called her "Miss Lila". It was terribly cute.

I like Stinky/Lila too.

Also, Mr. Simmons/ Unseen Boyfriend.

...Seriously, was anyone surprised by him being confirmed as gay? I'm just sad they never showed his partner. It would have been a great way to break down some barriers (I can't remember if Craig backed out of showing the boyfriend or if the censors told him he couldn't...)

His boyfriend was that kind of dickish dude in Arnold's Thanksgiving.

I think it was awesome that Craig outed him though I wish there had been something more concrete said about it in the actual series, but I'll take what I can get!

@peachcake: Gay is a word used to describe people who are attracted to other people that are of the same sex. So, a guy who is attracted to other guys or a woman who is attracted to other women.

Pretty sure Bliss is married. There was a picture of her with a man on her desk.

I had a weird thought that Stinky might have liked Phoebe. I have no idea why I thought that.

I don't see how weird Stinky/Phoebe might be. Sure, they are very different, but they're also two very caring people with good hearts.

Rhonda/Harold is my favorite. Also a fan of Brainy/Lila because it would be adorable and weird.

Brainy/Lila, eh? Never considered it. I suppose it could be interesting, but given that he's so into Helga and Lila's practically her exact opposite, I don't really see it, but that could just be me.

Rhonda/Harold remains awesome. Though still tied with Rhonda/Curly for me...I just can't choose between them!

I think I once read the very beginnings of a brainy/lila story actually. Wasn't there one by Heidi Patacki? Or am I imagining things? IDK.

If anyone could remember the name, I'd like to look it up. I'm ridiculously easy to convert to ships (seriously, if I read a fanfic where they're in character, I'll start liking the pairing).

Aaaand now I think it was actually a Lila/Curly fic by Pyrus Japonica! Whoops!

*laughs* It still sounds interesting, and I really never considered that pairing! Curly/Lila, eh? With how insane he is and how uh...I don't know how to explain her other than tooth-rottingly sweet.

Okay, fine, comment... I read something once where Arnold and Lila were dating but Curly had an infatuation similar to the one he had on Rhonda on her. And it really freaked her out and Arnold had to comfort her. It was pretty funny. Curly even kissed her in the broom closet and she... enjoyed it. XD It's still a pretty random pairing and I can't see it working out... but I could see them... no, I couldn't, sorry. -_- I couldn't see them being friends, or trying or anything. I could only see confusion and distruction in their future. XD

I don't know, Lila seems to have a thing for crazy people. Well weird one's at least, and Curly is pretty strange. It'd probably be a pretty confusing relationship.

Lila liked Arnie of all people...the kid was just strange and quite honestly, he gave me the heebie-jeebies the first time I saw "Weird Cousin". As Hank Hill would say (I know, I know, wrong cartoon!) "the boy ain't right".

Lila and Arnie are a lot alike, though; that's why they'd make a good couple. The both of them are very passive people, who just sit by the sidelines and watch their lives go by instead of living it. They seem to take the safe path in life and don't like conflict. Instead, they just are, complete with Arnie's weird mannerisms.

In "Arnold Visits Arnie", I love Helga's impression of Arnie.

"Don't forget that phlegmy snort!" *Snorts like Arnie*.

...but also with Eugene, but admittedly I'd never thought of the pairing until "Eugene, Eugene". ...I once dated a Eugene. I never could get the image of the Hey Arnold! Eugene out of my head when I talked to him.

Arnie/Lila, Stinky/Lila, Eugene/Lila - they all work.

I actually babysat for a little boy named Eugene for a while. XD Funnily enough, he was actually very clumsy and had some bad luck like Eugene in "Hey Arnold!" He's twelve now and has actually grown out of his clumsiness and bad luck, so perhaps there is hope for "Hey Arnold!" Eugene too.
