Um, well, hello there!

Hello everyone. :3 I found this forum on the Hey Arnold! community on LJ, and so, I couldn't resist. xD And here I am!

And yes, it is I, NintendoGal55 from FF.net. X3 Some of you here know of my Hey Arnold! fanfics, which I must say, I'm quite proud of. >w< So yay!

RPing is fun. Hey Arnold! just plain rules. So put those two together and you get awesomeness.

All righty, I'll tell y'all a bit about myself.

I'm 19 years old, I live in Canada, and I am currently going to college part time. I'm taking English 103: Literary Themes. The theme we're focusing on is Technology and Human Nature. Pretty interesting, I guess. Provided the stuff I read doesn't put me to sleep! xD I live with my family at home, my parents and my younger brother. English is obviously my mother tongue, and I can also (somewhat) speak French. My hobbies include writing, reading, taking walks, biking, swimming, nature hikes. XD

As some of you know, I write fanfiction. In basics, I just love to write. I want to be a novel writer one day. 8D And I enjoy writing fanfiction, as I said, which helps me get my muse out, and develop. Whoo! Super fun.

I love a lot of things. X3 Too many to name!

Hey Arnold! has now become an obsession of mine. I can't help it! As a child, around 8 or 9, I used to watch some episodes when they'd air on YTV. I didn't love it like I do now, but I knew the show and I did like it. The first episode I ever saw was "Arnold's Hat". Before that, I heard about Hey Arnold! and was somewhat aware of it. We had the episode on tape, but only about half of it. It cut off while Helga was having a love moment to her locket after Arnold announced he was never coming out of his house because of losing his hat. So I finally saw it a couple years later. XD At the time, I was puzzled as to why Helga acted so mean to Arnold, and yet was in love with him. But I just accepted it. Plus, I was really young and didn't pay much attention, and on top of that, I didn't see a lot of episodes, either. So I never got to see the awesome ones that I love today. xD

But I did watch (or rather, rented on video) "Arnold's Valentine" several times. And I don't know why. xD I guess deep down I really loved the pairing? Who knows! Back then, I didn't pay much attention, and I didn't think of them together.

Now then...a few months ago, back in November, I think it was, I had quite a discovery.

I think it may have been a post on Twilightsucks.com, which I am a member of, I don't remember, but I think the intriguing re-discovery of Hey Arnold! was from a post about various pairings that someone liked. One of them was ArnoldxHelga, from Hey Arnold!, doi! I saw that, and I was quite curious, since I hadn't watched it or even thought about it for such a long time. And the pairing! I'd never thought of them together. Well hey, now that I was 19, and I would be able to understand it all better, and was curious to get back in touch with a childhood memory, I went and...

Read Hey Arnold! fanfiction. XD Because that's what I do when I like a fandom. I go read fanfics.

I read some. And I must say, it was interesting getting back into it. I did have to try to remember who some characters were, though! I knew Arnold, Helga, Gerald, Phoebe, Eugene, Harold, Lila, Sid, and some others, but I didn't remember quite a few! xD It was fun, just sitting there reading the fics and going all "Okay, who's Rhonda again? ...Oh yeah.... Now Curly, who's Curly again?" xD Hee hee!

And then I read some ArnoldxHelga stuff. Oh MAN. I got hooked. I fell in love with the pairing. OwO I read more fanfics. And before I knew it, I had started to write some of my own. And ta-da! Here I am today.

I'm quite happy. >w<

I think you'd be awesome at playing a conplicated character like Brainy XD Lol, that sounds so wrong, but I really think there's a lot more going on in that guy's head than just the wheezing and stalking XD

Wow, looks like a lot of the current fanfic authors are coming to this site. Awesome. ^_^ ...I should probably go update one of my stories, too.......right after I finish posting here.
