POLL - New RP plot?

Time to pick a plot for our new RP!  I'm actually torn because I like all three ideas!  I'm actually going to allow multiple votes, but hopefully one will come out as the ultimate pic and we don't just all vote for each plot equally.......

Tentative cast list:

Squirreltamer - Wolfgang or Lila
Criminy - Sid
Perhaps - Curly
Hatterlet - Phoebe
AG - Helga
JJBoy - Stinky
Alison - Harold or Gerald

I'm going with what I think has the most potential for crazy Curly shenanigans, but I would be happy with any of them, to be honest.

For anyone directed here from my tumblr that is interested in playing: Please list who you'd like to play in order of preference.

I keep losing threads on this boards, forgive me for asking twice, but what age were we playing them at? (I voted for the mall anyway)

Yes, I vote teens or even college age.

Minimum teen age, definitely.

Oh, with the Mall I just realized, it's not like they would have the run of all the stores since the stores lock up individually --so they just have the run of the empty mall? LOL. Also how the Hell do we write out cell phones?

Also, back in the mall I used to work for - the deeper you went in, the worst the cell reception was unless you got like right on top of one of the cell phone kiosks in the middle.

Alternatively, we could say Arnold was getting sick of everyone ignoring each other in favor of their cell phones and got them all to agree to just one day out without them.

This is a fantastic idea.....there would be rebels.. XD- but yes snow storm works...even if it a cop out. LOL.

I sort of feel like Arnold is necessary. I wouldn't mind playing him instead of Curly if we don't get any volunteers in time. Curly's fun at all, but I have to admit there's only so much you can do with him, anyway.

Perhaps: If you want to switch to Arnold, that works! It's totally up to you. If you'd rather not, it's still no big.

I mean, if they're teens we can easily say that Arnold's in San Lorenzo. I get that he's the titular character, but I'm totes willing to play without him.

Aaaaand I think we've pretty much got the crew we can expect to have for now anyway. I've done a good bit of advertising, but haven't really gotten too many bites. *sigh*

It looks like our winner is "trapped in the mall after hours"! I actually think it wouldn't be super ridiculous if some of the kids were actually EMPLOYEES closing up and that's part of why they're in the mall so late. I still say snowstorm or some other natural cause could be enough to jam up their phones and keep them in the mall against their wills.

Not to add pressure, but if you're really attached to Curly you can write for both and just have Curly more of a background character?

Its funny you say that, I wrote a one-shot last year that was apart of an RP I was doing with Jay and Helga did work at the mall......I want to send it to you if that's alright.

AG: send away! Or, if you feel up to it, go ahead and post in the fanfic section of stuff.

I think I'll take Arnold and Curly. That should give me a decent amount of stuff to do. And Curly really works best in short bursts, anyway.

Sounds rad. If you ever get overwhelmed with playing both, just give a heads up and we'll work out a way to drop a character.

And with that last bit settled, I think we are officially ready to start this new RP! WOOOOOOOOOOO!

Sweet! And let's face it, Curly is totally easy to write out of the plot. He would find some weird way of getting out and not even think to tell the others unless they specifically asked.

I can try my shot at Arnold. I done multiple character quite similar to his character so if you like a sample of my work I can give it a shot

I believe Perhaps is pretty much our Arnold for the moment and she's doing a great job of it, however we'd LOVE to have you join us anyway! There's still a TON of HA! characters who no one is playing. There's a tentative list of who's taken posted on the first page of this topic, but so far the only ones who are DEFINITELY taken are:

Helga, Arnold, Phoebe and Wolfgang.

Everyone else is pretty fair game.
