There's just something so appealing of having two arch-nemesises flirting around with eachother. Then if you add one being madly in love with the other and the other just being a dense little twit who simply tolerates the other... well... You've got ArnoldxHelga. XD
Then later Arnold falls for Helga, and they make out, and it's happily ever after.
I actually read a fic like that. And I mean... JUST like that. I still remember it word for word, too. *Clears throat*
Arnold:I love you!
Helga: I love you, too!
Make out.
The end.

I know exactly what ya mean with the flirting in "Dinner for Four". When I saw that I was just bouncing up and down in my seat! I couldn't believe he just out-right flirted with her! It was so cute!!!

It was so CUTE!!! XD Especially when he sprays her with water with the spray nozzle and winks at her. xD And talking in such a sweet and flirty tone, telling her he thinks she was sophisticated. X3 Adorable! But oh yes, April Fool's Day was just the ULTIMATE. xD

I can see that happening, Arnold coming to embrace Helga's less redeeming qualities, being pushy, stubborn and sarcastic, that makes a lot of sense! It really does, because now he can start to realize that her less redeeming qualities (aside from over-the-top verbal abuse) is part of what makes her who she is and accepts it. Yeah, that's smart! We need a little development there. 8D We all know he really likes her when she's nice, and he can definitely grow to appreciate how she stands up to people, puts them in their place, can be aggressive when the situation calls for it, her sarcastic humour, ect...

WARNING: SPOILERS ALERT! SPOILER ALERT!
Okay, so in one of the episodes we're working on...
Phoebe is doing a project for school on hypnotism and Arnold is her demonstration monkey. So she hypnotizes him to go into a "Hyper-suggestive state" every time he hears the phrase "Lemon Pudding". She says the phrase, he goes mental, and everyone laughs.
So then she de-hypnotizes him (So she thinks), and he's back to normal. He goes to lunch and hears Stinky say Lemon pudding (Naturally) and goes back into the "Hyper-suggestive state". Stinky, Harold, and Sid see that he's not de-hypnotized and decide to have some fun with him.
They tell him to go and do a lot of stupid crap, (fall for a stapler, kiss a squirrel, etc.) and he has no choice and does so. It's gonna be really funny. XD
But the thing that I think you may find interesting about this episode is that on the forum, someone just recently suggested that just for laughs, Harold tells Arnold to fall in love with Helga, because he thinks she hates him.
It's new and was just recently posted on the forum for that ep, but I fully intend to praise that idea all the way to the top. I think that would be too funny, not to mention AWESOME!
