Okay, now you're probably thinking (Especially Helga) "WTF?! She's not Naruto!"

I'll explain, for those of you who don't get it.

This is a parody of...a parody. In the Naruto The Abridged Series, done by Vegeta3986 and MasakoX, episode 13 had the Naruto doppelganger wear a white T-shirt that said "I Am Naruto" on it. And later Orochimaru comes in and HE has the shirt on! xD

Orochimaru: Hello, Sasuke.

Sasuke: Waaah! It's Orichi-Did you steal that shirt from that ninja?

Orochimaru: *Has the I Am Naruto shirt* What? I-It has a charm to it!

X3 So that's the story behind it.

And just for the hell of it, I wanted to draw Helga wearing it and saying "What? It has a charm to it!". For no reason at all, other than just to be silly and hopefully make the fans laugh. xD I drew her anime style for two reasons.

One, easier for me.

Two, I was in class while drawing this, so I had no proper reference. I suck at drawing Helga, period.

She's wearing her locket, by the way.

...Really, Sakura's obsession with Sasuke kind of reminded me of Helga's with Arnold. ...but I don't really watch the series (my apologies, but Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto all got on my nerves. Interestingly enough, though, I found every other character fascinating...but not worth it to put up with those three.)

The manga is pretty much crap now, but it really was good at one point! That was a long time ago though.

Also I freaking love Season 1 Sakura. Haters to the left.

My love is reserved for Kakashi.

Sorry. ^^; I didn't mean to sound offensive. I'm sorry, that was insensitive of me to say.

To pom, yeah, it DOES kind of resemble it, but the fact is, it's way different. Sakura pretty much (in my opinion) and the other girls liked him purely because he was hot and because he's smart and a talented ninja. While she does do nice things for him from time to time, she mostly ends up wasting her time because barely acknowledges her, especially on a personal, one-on-one basis, you know? So, she is sincere, but she really needs to grow up and truly realize a few things about it.

Of course, her reasons for liking him were pretty much unfounded a lot of the time. All we knew is that she liked him, bam, that's it. I may have missed something, but that's pretty much how I always saw it. ^^;

Season 1 Sakura annoyed me most of the time. Well actually, it was after the Chuunin exams that she was growing to be okay. :3 I like her better in Shippuden. She's not my favourite character, but I do like her a lot better than I used to.

And I love Kakashi. OwO He's awesome. <3

I always saw that she liked him for shallow reasons in the beginning and then pretty quickly began loving him for reasons beyond that. She's very much aware of the darkness inside of him and is important enough to him that she was able to push it back at one point (Chuunin exams). She's kind of naive and weak, but she does TRY.

Also, I just love how damn human she is in comparison to the rest of the cast. I love her crying over Sasuke on the bridge while repeating the Shinobi code, because it's such a tragic contrast - the rules and the reality.

I've loved her from the very beginning and she's now the only character in Naruto that I still give a damn about, which is why it pisses me off how badly she's currently being treated in the manga. *tragic sigh*

That does make sense, that's one way to look at it. Her feelings are more ambiguous in Shippuden, since all we pretty much know is that does still care about him, she just never openly says (or thinks) in a matter of love. But I think by then it could definitely go beyond the shallow reasoning she had before (this is just me, loving someone for shallow reasons is NOT love). *Nod*

But of course I do cut her some slack, since she was young and naive, she just simply annoyed me at first is all. But over time she matured and became much more of a redeemable character. And I do give her credit since she did try. Especially during the Chuunin exams and thereafter.

It's pretty sad the way the manga is going now, and I'm not sure what to think. Still, the series does remain to have a special place in my heart.

Deidara is my favourite character. xD <3 He's so awesome. OwO *Sighs* Chapter 362 was heartbreaking. GOD DAMN IT WHY DO ALL THE COOL CHARACTERS DIE!?!?!?!!!? DX

I'm pretty much of the belief that she truly loved him by the time the Chuunin exams rolled around. Also her good-bye scene with him? BROKE MY HEART. I also love that she went off to kill him in part two because she was so in love with the person he used to be and couldn't stand knowing what he had become. BUT SHE STILL COULDN'T GO THROUGH WITH IT. Because of the love. *___*

I do understand why people don't like her (sort of), but she's the whole reason I even bothered with Naruto at all. I caught the show right at the part where she hugs him and breaks the cursed seal's hold on him and THAT's what made me begin to care about the series at all. Her love being strong enough to snap him back from the darkness. That's powerful shit right there. And that's why I'm pretty certain that her love for him isn't actually shallow anymore. It's deeper and more tangible - enough to bring him back to himself.

I see your reasoning, and you do make valid points. *Nod* It's interesting to look at it from both perspectives.

A little teeny bit off topic, but isn't Helga a lot like a super jerk version of Sakura? Hahaha, I just noticed that... But Sasuke is FAR from an Arnold character.
