2) Anyone have any ideas for all the other side-plots... other than Harold and Sid (it is Sid, right?) getting chased by a rabid monkey?

3) Anyone think Arnold is going to catch Helga monologuing in TJM?

5) How many times do you think the kids will almost fall off a cliff? ....or just die?

I did a little offhand joke in one story about the monkey biting Harold (and Miles christening the monkeys' babies after Sid, Stinky and Harold...)

I don't think they'll die.

I want to see Arnold start off a moment, or him just looking at her or...something! But if she's getting so upset that Brainy has to pull her out of her funk, my guess is Arnold's going to be preoccupied with finding his parents (which is perfectly reasonable, but I think we've all wanted to see Arnold tell Helga he feels the same for like....ever. Okay, fine, at least since we first started watching the show.)

I think he might begin to like her, but not really say anything... or want to, for that matter. I think he'll probably be in denial for a little bit in the movie. I mean... Arnold falling for Helga... that's gotta be a little scary for him. He might be all, "I like you" in his actions at first, and then realize what he's doing and be all, "I'm here for my parents, and I don't like you" and kinda ignore her then, and during that period of time... she gets depressed and is ready to give up. I've written this in one of my stories also, and I am extremely pleased with it. But... it is a bit more idealistic than I would've wanted. But reviews have been spectacular so I guess it's good despite it.

So yeah, he'll start to like her around the beginning when she's starting to open up, and then realize he's starting to like her and be a bit freaked so he begins ignoring her a little and focusing on his parents, and yada yada yada... You get the idea.

Well, I believe I read that the 6th season was supposed to get him on the road towards realizing Helga's good for him, so who knows? Another strike against Nick. Leaving Arnold and orphan and without a girlfriend. Nickelodeon is cruel. V.V

I have 2 friends and an ex boyfriend named Nick. And yes, we teased one when we were little by doing the old "nick nick nick ni-nick nick nick NICKELODEON!".

...I think some people write sad fanfics, though. I'm putting him through a rough time right now, sort of, anyways...it'll get better. I think. Helga's just ignoring him.

Oh, I loved the old Nick jingle... it made me so sad that they cut it. I hardly ever hear it anymore.

Ahem. Back to the Jungle, what bothers me about it is that I can't think of how the Helga/Arnold moments would go. I really can't imagine the scene where Brainy talks to her because I'm so used to him showing up and wheezing 'nothing.'. Man, I want this movie. I think it speaks volumes that this many years later there are still campaigns to try to salvage the project.

Yeah, I know. I actually do have several different Arnold/Helga moments for TJM stuck in my head. I've written one, I believe... but I think I might start up a series of them. And I can picture the 'Brainy cheers up Helga' scene vaguely. I've been planning on writing that too.

I love that so many people are still dedicated to this, and there are people getting sucked into it all (Myself included). Who knows? Maybe we will be able to salvage the movie we so rightfully deserve someday.

See, that's why we need to all get DVDs and get the younger generation in on it too. When the kiddos are asking for it...that's when our plan shall be complete! *evil laugh*...ahem. Anyways...

It's all very vague. But I think he might actually break out the inhaler. XD I have problems with the actual talking, but I've got a good grip on how Helga's break down begins and how it might end. And if my theory is right and Helga is sad because Arnold is ignoring her... then the talk could be about how she shouldn't give up so easily, and that she's Helga G. Pataki, for cripes sake! She can't let the football head get her down in the dumps. XD Other than that, I don't want to give too much away for when I do eventually get around to writing my version.

HAHAHA! Yes, I have a niece that I'm working on brainwashin-... getting into "Hey Arnold!". Heh, heh, heh.

All my best ideas are angsty ones, sue me. I had this idea where Arnold, throughout the movie, would be understandably preoccupied with finding his parents. At some point, Helga would want to help him out, but he'd blow her off. Then, he'd realize the error of his ways and ask for her help later on.

HAHA! Thanks, but I'm not the first to come up with it. Given, I have thought of it, but I've read many fics where he's pulled out an inhaler. So I can't really take credit for being the like... seventeenth person to think of it. XD

I read one fic where Brainy walked Helga home, and once she went inside, he pulled out a pink inhaler with little jewels, and it had a big H on it for Helga... I think it had some lovey dovey inscription, too. XD

Wow... that's mean. Poor Helga. I had never thought of that. That actually is a possibility... That's makes me a bit sad. I had always just thought that Helga would... force her way into the mission. In the beginning, if Arnold blew her off, I could see Helga threatening some pretty violent things if he didn't let her in. XD But... your theory could happen. Interesting...

Now I could see Arnold finally reaching his breaking point and raising his voice at her with some sort of speech on how it isn't her business, and then once he's done Helga just kind of says without any emotion whatsoever, "Fine, Arnold."

Geez... you should totally write your version. It sounds angstelicious! Haha! I love that emoticon.
